What is your biggest accomplishment so far in your life? The biggest accomplishment in my life so far has been my recovery from anorexia nervosa. Recovery was by far the most challenging thing I've done in my life, but the reward was so much greater than I could have expected. I have worked hard to achieve food and body freedom and I'm so grateful for that. It gave me my life back.

What is a quality you love about yourself?

I love that I am a compassionate and empathetic person. I genuinely care about other people and feel their pain; it makes me a better friend, partner and human. I spent years mistaking my sensitivity for weakness and now I am in a place where I can be proud of it. It's taken me a long time to learn that I can be both strong and compassionate.

What is your favorite part of your body?

My favorite part of my body is my booty! Throughout my life, it has both shrunk and expanded and even though it's been a tumultuous relationship at times, I've really come to the point where I can accept and love it. It reminds me that I am my mother's daughter, that I am strong and that I am healthy. Also, I think it looks great in a pair of leggings!

  • Seriously, it’s gratitude that makes you happy. Nobody can live a happy life without it. This makes me want to stand on the bathroom counter every morning. Love it!!
